Test din lyst til sex

Test Your Sexual Perception

It is good to know and appreciate all the individual phases of your sexual response cycle. The cycle is described here as lust, excitement, and orgasmic phases. When Love Hurts find that it is not a matter of two steps (lust, excitement) to reach the goal (orgasm). But a cycle of three plateaus, each being something in itself.

The test is no smart, super advanced, scientific test. It is merely us asking and you to consider questions and answers.

LUST PHASE

You experience a desire to receive sexual stimuli. In this phase, you are scouting for them and want to receive them to get the positive benefits they provide.

Use the following scale to answer the questions:

  • 0 = Not at all
  • 1 = Barely
  • 2 = Somewhat
  • 3 = Moderately
  • 4 = Strongly
  • 5 = Absolutely

  1. Do you want to experience sexual pleasure?
  2. Do you see yourself as a sexual being?
  3. Do you recognise lust signals in your body?
  4. Do you appreciate your lust signals?
  5. Do you want to feel sexual stimuli?
  6. Do you feel your surroundings respond to your feelings of sexual excitement?
  7. When experiencing sexual stimuli, do you react positively to them?

0 – 10 points: It seems as if you do not have a high desire for sexual pleasure. Do you know what keeps you from it? It’s a good idea to get to know what holds you back from wanting to experience pleasure. If you know, it will be easier for you to work towards expanding your access to desire. Many people benefit from changing their understanding of what pleasure is and how to achieve it. We would recommend you to read further in When Love Hurts and see if it can help you get closer to the desire for sexual enjoyment.

11 – 20 points: It seems as if the desire is there, but it is a bit sparse. Do you wish to have more desire to experience pleasure? If you work with what you know is exciting for you, you may be able to put yourself on the road to just that. It may be a matter of focusing on your opportunities rather than limitations. We recommend that you read on to learn about pleasure and how you can work towards it.

21 – 35 points: It seems as if you know what you like and how you want it! Good for you. You most likely have a full understanding that desire itself is pleasurable and worth appreciating. Be proud of yourself because you know how to enjoy desire and translate it into sexual pleasure.

EXCITEMENT PHASE

The sexual stimuli you receive begin to affect. Your body feels good, and you want more. Use the following scale to answer the questions:

  • 0 = Not at all
  • 1 = Barely
  • 2 = Somewhat
  • 3 = Moderately
  • 4 = Strongly
  • 5 = Absolutely
