Props & Pearls is engaged in a range of social projects that raise awareness of women’s health challenges and promote dialogue to break down taboos and myths while generating new knowledge.

Women who reach out to Props & Pearls contribute their time, experiences, and purchases, which enables the operation of websites like this one. Additionally, the social projects receive funding support and collaborate with various patient associations, municipalities, and regions.

Highlights of Social Projects:

Knibnu – A digital campaign that empowers women to strengthen their pelvic floor. With support from the Nordea Foundation, Props & Pearls has developed an innovative knib campaign that presents pelvic floor training in new and enjoyable ways. The 21-day program includes daily exercises, knowledge, humor, and reminders, making training both fun and effective. The campaign initiates the world’s first knib movement, where women collectively engage in pelvic exercises, making Danish women the best knibbers globally. Learn more at knibnu.dk.

Information and aids for women who have undergone pelvic radiation therapy. Women who have received radiation for cancer may experience vaginal side effects. Props & Pearls has developed Danish guidelines and introduced Amielle Care and Amielle Comfort to help hospitals support women in regaining control over their bodies and managing these challenges.

Can a breast prosthesis be a piece of jewelry? At Props & Pearls, we believe that aids should be both functional and aesthetic. We have organized an international design competition themed “Can a breast prosthesis be a piece of jewelry?” Design students across Europe have created a series of artworks that illustrate their perspectives on living with breast cancer and how a prosthesis can be designed.

What’s hiding behind the bush… have you had it checked recently? This campaign emphasizes the importance of young women taking advantage of preventive measures against cervical cancer, which can affect women of all ages.

MineBivirkninger.dk – side effects of anti-estrogen treatment. The website provides information about common side effects that women may experience during treatment with Anastrozole, Letrozole, Zoledex, and Tamoxifen. Users can log in with their email and username to enter their side effects and compare their experiences with other women receiving treatment to lower estrogen levels.
