Surgery can affect the body and your sex life in different ways. Sex might hurt, things might feel different, your desire may have changed, or you may simply be unsure when and how to start having sex again.

But post-surgery and sex don’t have to be a story about things getting worse. If the surgery has removed pain, bleeding or other symptoms, sex can actually become easier. For others, it takes time to get to know the body again and to find new paths to desire and pleasure.
